Unique Housing Solutions offer a range of kitset houses available throughout New Zealand and have an initial offering of four affordable options, which include 45m2, 70m2, 80m2 and 90m2.

A DIY kitset home is affordable and flexible and is one of our most effective ways to build your own home. We will supply plans and all major building materials at which point you take total charge of the construction process. We can deliver everything from plumbing supplies and tapware to kitchen appliances, plumbing materials and exterior cladding. This convenience will save you time on coordinating materials or money and time spent on project management.

The benefits of purchasing a kitset home through us include reputable building materials, use of local suppliers and competitive pricing as we have a strong reputation and bulk-buying power. We are more than happy to provide guidance and advice, however it will be up to you to manage the project and either hire trades or carry out the work yourself if you have the ability to do so. We can provide you with details of local trades.

Our 45m2 option includes one bedroom, one bathroom, a combined kitchen and living area and a porch. Our 70m2 option has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a combined kitchen, living and dining area and a porch. Our 80m2 option has a slightly different layout to the 70m2 option, with two larger bedrooms, one bathroom, a combined kitchen, living and dining area as well as a carport. Finally our 90m2 option offers more area for living and includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, storage space and a combined kitchen, dining and living area.
